Help needed at barbecue
THE annual summer barbecue at Ashleigh Primary School in Darwen is due to be held on Saturday, June 13.
The event is being organised by the friends of the school and volunteers are being called on to lend a hand on the day.
Help is needed in the morning to set up the equipment and to clean up afterwards.
A meeting to discuss arrangements for the barbecue and stalls will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at the Whitehall Hotel from 7pm.
