Drugs burglar
A 39-YEAR-OLD man who was refused a prescription by his doctor broke into a health centre to try and steal medication. John David McKay, of Stansfeld Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty at the town’s magistrates to burglary at Barbara Castle Health Centre and theft of drugs and cash. He was remanded on bail to allow a pre-sentence report.
