Hopefuls will face grilling
BURNLEY’S General Election candidates will take part in a hustings event at Burnley College tonight.
All five hopefuls are expected to attend the event which begins at 7pm.
They are Gordon Birtwistle (Liberal Democrats), Sarah Cockburn-Price (Conservatives), Tom Commis (UK Independence Party), Julie Cooper (Labour) and Mike Hargreaves (Green Party).
