Shops show some front
NEW shop fronts are being devised for one of Darwen’s main shopping streets.
Lee Arnold has applied to the borough council for permission to overhaul 23-25 Bridge Street, between Buxtons bakers and the social club.
The 135-year-old property, which is within the Darwen Town Centre Conservation Area, would benefit from two new shop fronts.
