Historical meeting
THIS month’s meeting of the Darwen Local History Society will be on Monday, March 16.
Simon Huggill will be talking to the group about The Magic of Rev Smalley – a minister of the Lower Chapel, from 1752-1791.Sandra Law from the group said: “Simon Huggill will be telling us about ‘The Magic of Rev Smalley’. Minister of the Lower Chapel, Darwen, from 1752 until his death in 1791.
It is at the Bridge Street Sports and Social Club from 7.30pm.
