Chimney fire
A CHIMNEY fire broke out at a house in Blackburn.
Fire crews were called to Randal Street at 11.45pm on Friday to put out the blaze.
A spokesman said when they arrived on the scene, heat could be seen from the chimney.
He said: “It was a log burner. We went in to investigate and put the fire out with chimney rods connected to a hose.”
No damage was caused to the property.
