Electrical fire
FIREFIGHTERS from Burnley fire station were called to a home in Leyland Road yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman said crews attended a small electrical fire at around 12.30pm.
He said: “It was a burnt-out wire running to a plug socket that caused the fire.
“There was no damage.”
