CONCERNS were raised that the ambulance control centre for Lancashire’s ambulance control centre was left without a “deep clean” for three years.
The Care Quality Commission recently inspected the centre in Broughton, which is managed by North West Ambulance Service and said: “The logistics of carrying out a ‘deep clean’ of the operations centre were being discussed with IT.
“However, he audit trail for this agenda item showed that it had been outstanding for over three years.”
