NORTHERN soul tribute night BABY I Need Your Lovin’, a night of tribute to northern soul, will come to Blackburn in the new year.
An eight-piece live band playing hits from the Tamla Motown era will perform at Thwaites Empire Theatre in Aqueduct Road on Saturday, January 10.
Audiences will be taken on a journey into Tamla Motown’s rich history, from Berry Gordy’s humble beginnings in the Detroit of 1959 and the early hits of the Four Tops and the Temptations and from the Miracles to the label’s move to LA in 1972.
Empire chairman Michael Berry said: “This is a show to blast away the new year cobwebs after Christmas.
“Multi-costumed, multi-talented, a true gem of a band with a core of true talented musicians, fabulous vocals and a legendary playlist. “I defy you not to get up out of your seat and sing and dance along.”
Tickets cost £16. To book, call 01254 685500.
