RESIDENTS in Ribble Valley have been advised of the changes to recycling and refuse collection over the festive period.
Collections will now be held on December 20, 22, 23, 24, 27, and January 2 and 3.
There will be no refuse collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Waste paper and cardboard will also be collected on the rearranged refuse collection dates, and residents are reminded to recycle their Christmas wrap, cards and packaging.
The council has said Christmas trees should be chopped up and placed inside green bins, or for households not on the green wheeled bin service tied up and left with burgundy bins or lilac sacks on green waste collection week.
