Pub is set to be sold at auction
A RUNdown pub in Accrington town centre is set to go under the hammer.
The prominent Duke of Wellington, in Abbey Street, will be sold at auction at Manchester City Football Club on Thursday, September 11.
It has been given a guide price of between £30,000 and £40,000.
The three-storey building has been described as ‘in need of investment’.
The auction, held at City’s Etihad Stadium from noon, is being held by Pugh & Co.
