POLICE saw a car pull out on to Marsh House Lane in Darwen and mount the kerb in the process.
Blackburn magistrates heard that the car was stopped and the driver, Suzanne Rushforth, later gave a breathalyser reading more than double the drink-drive limit.
Rushforth, 50, of Marsh House Lane, Darwen, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. She was fined £200 with £105 costs and banned from driving for 18 months.
