BURNLEY Council leader Mark Townsend is holding a ‘pop up’ surgery tomorrow in Burnley town centre, from 11am to 1pm.
Anyone can go along to have a chat with Coun Townsend, and council officers will be on hand to note queries and issues that people want responses to.
Coun Townsend said: “We’ve been working on a range of really important issues which we need to get right for the future.
“These include looking at new ways of delivering the council’s own services, and ideas about the borough’s next Local Plan, so that the borough can carry on growing and developing.
“I will be holding these new ‘pop up’ surgeries in different parts of the borough to make sure I can meet people, hear their views and ideas, and get a real feel for how people see local issues.”
The council trailer will be outside Boots, with information leaflets on council activities and services.
