Church needs choir master
MELLOR’S St Mary’s Church is looking an organist and choir master.
He will be required to continue the parish’s musical tradition and train and direct its choir.
Sunday services are: 10.30am sung Eucharist and 6.30pm Evening Worship with hymns. Other services are held on special occasions and major feast days together with a number of weddings and funerals.
Choir practice is held weekly on Wednesday evenings.
The organ is a ‘Two Manual’ organ built by Walkers. RSCM rates are paid. Reserves and stand-ins are available for holiday cover.
