WRISTBANDS aimed at raising money for a charity set up in memory of tragic teen Lauren Johnson have gone on sale.

The 17-year-old, who lived in Blackburn Road, Oswaldtwistle, died in June after falling from the Arndale Centre’s car park in Accrington.

Her devastated friends set up Lauren’s Place with the aim of providing help to people with mental health problems in the area.

The shop where Lauren worked before her death, C’Quinz, opposite the Market Hall, is selling the wristbands for £1.50. Other items include T-shirts, ribbons, and loom bands.

A spokesman said: “Thank you to everyone for all your support so far. Without help and support, we can’t achieve our goal.”

They can also be ordered online at the website www.laurensplace.bigcartel.com.
