A BLACKBURN-run campaign group is taking to the nation’s streets to raise awareness of suffering in Gaza.
Drive For Justice, arranged by Blackburn-based not-for-profit group Youth On A Mission, organises car and motorbike rallies and demonstrations to shed light on the issue.
Group members, who are all volunteers, say their aim is to spread “fair and unbia-sed news for the whole of humanity”.
This weekend the group brought a flatbed truck to Blackburn. A Palestinian woman and child stood on the back of the truck, to raise awareness about Palestine.
Drive For Justice has had a lot of support in East Lancashire, and one convoy was joined by Blackburn councillor Arshid Mahmood.
The group is planning to travel to London on September 9 for a mass day of action, to raise awareness among MPs. To join Drive For Justice, visit https://www.facebook.com/DriveForJustice.
