Comedian Freddie ‘Parrotface’ Davies will top the bill at the next afternoon variety show at Darwen Library Theatre, it has been announced.
Davies, who this year published his autobiography 50 years after first appearing on BBC’s ‘Opportunity Knocks’, will be joined on the bill by singers Miranda Myles and Russell Shaun. Tickets cost £3 for Darwen residents, thanks to a subsidy from Darwen Town Council, or £4 for people from outside the town.
The ticket price includes a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits during the interval.
The show starts at 2pm and runs until 4.30pm. The bar and cafe open from 1pm. To book tickets, call 01254 706006.
