Young at art
CHILDREN from St Cuthbert’s, St Edward’s and Avondale primary schools have taken part in a painting competition organised by the Friends of Sunnyhurst Wood. Their art will be on display until August 30 and the winner will be chosen by Darwen Town Council mayor Trevor Maxfield on August 10 at 1.30pm.
