400 meals sent to families in need
VOLUNTEERS at The Raft Foundation, Rossendale’s foodbank, delivered 400 meals to families in need across the Valley on Tuesday.
The donations included fresh fruit and vegetables, nappies, toiletries and pet food.
The foundation is often in need of supplies, such as dried rice, soup, rice pudding, custard, tinned veg, pasta sauce, noodles, biscuits and crackers.
Donations can be made to Suite 31, Hardmans Business Centre in New Hall Hey, Rawtenstall, between 10am and noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Asda in Rawtenstall, and Dansworks Dance Academy in the Pioneer Buildings in Bacup town centre.
