Changes in local clergy
THE Reverend John Knott has this month been licensed as priest-in-charge of the Colne and Villages team of the Church of England by Bishop of Blackburn Julian Henderson.
He will become Rector of Foulridge, Trawden and Laneshawbridge when the new pastoral scheme is instituted.
Under the scheme the Rev Lisa Senior will become Rector of Colne.
She will be inducted into her new post on September 3 at 7.30pm.
