Bald tyres fine
A DRIVER at the wheel of a hire car which had a bald tyre was spared penalty points.
Jobless Haiyat Ali Khan, 21, was fined £70, with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge by Burnley magistrates.
The defendant, of Thursby Square, Burnley, admitted using a passenger vehicle with insufficient tread in the town, on April 29.
