Rubbish blaze two-hour job
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a large rubbish fire in Moorfield Drive, Altham.
One fire engine from Padiham attended the scene as well as retained firefighters from Accrington.
The blaze did not spread and caused no damage to property and no one was harmed.
It took the team around two hours to put out the blaze.
Fire officials say that it is still unclear whether the fire was started deliberately or not.
