IMPROVEMENTS will be carried out at St Aidan’s Primary School over the holidays.
These include a full refurbishment of the Key Stage 2 toilets, a new heating system in Key Stage 2, installation of a fibre-optic back bone, to allow for super-fast broadband and a complete update of hardware.
There will be new shelving, on the stage area, new reading books and a reading area in Key Stage 1.
The school website is also being updated.
Due to the reorganisation the school’s reading books ready for September, the school had a surplus of books which were given to pupils. At the end of term, each child was able to choose a book to take home and keep.
