PARENTS are being invited to encourage their children to take part in reading activities being held across Burnley throughout the summer.
A Burnley Council spokeswoman said: “Encourage your kids to join the Summer Reading Challenge and find out more about children’s ebooks available through the Lancashire County Council website.
“Young readers will also be able to take part in exciting activities including special storytimes, treasure hunts and more.”
Look for Summer Reading Challenge activities via www.pointme.org.uk, or sign up at one of the following libraries: Burnley Central Library, Padiham Library, Pike Hill Library, Briercliffe Library, Rosegrove Library, Burnley Campus Library, or Coal Clough Library.
