Concert boosts charity
STUDENTS at Colne Primet Academy were treated to a performance by band, Arizona, as part of their tour of the north west’s schools and colleges.
The four girls in the band – Grace O’Malley, Jess Howarth, Jess Watts and Sophie Wooding, from Alder Grange Community Technology School and Sixth Form – are using the tour as a way to raise money for for Petal Childhood Cancer Research.
The students of Colne Primet Academy raised £270 for the cause at the event.
