Burglary case
A 24-year-old man charged with burglary was sent to Burnley Crown Court when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates.
Daniel Martin Smedley, of Commercial Street, Rishton, is charged with burglary at a house in Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors and theft of property worth £565 and using racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards a police officer.
