12 hours of soul music lined up for weekend
THE annual ‘Summer In The Park 2014’ event is to be held in Clayton-le-Moors this weekend.
It will be staged at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa on Saturday from 2pm to 2am.
The fourth instalment of the ‘all-dayer’ will include 12 hours of soul music. The Pendle suite will feature Motown memories and Northern classics with a special nod to the sounds of Blackpool Mecca and the Manchester Ritz seventies sizzlers.
The Towneley suite will be filled with soulful dance, 80's boogie, rare groove and jazzy beats and The Dunklaw suite will have a selection of crossover soul for the connoisseurs.
