A CEREMONY to rededicate a set of memorial plaques will be staged at Rimington Memorial Institute in Newby Lane on August 4 from 6pm.
It has been organised to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
The ceremony will feature the names of the men from the village who lost their lives during the First World War and Second World War.
The plaques are currently displayed in the institute.
Rev David Isaacs of Martin Top Chapel will conduct the service.
