A FAMILY fun day in Crawshawbooth raised £5,000 for charity Kids in Rossendale.
The event featured stalls, entertainment, children’s rides, facepainting, a penalty shoot out, nail art, a tug of war and a barbecue provided by Riley’s Butchers.
The event was organised by Paula Riley and the proceeds will be used to help disadvantaged children in the Valley take part in activities and clubs.
Mrs Riley said: “We had a great day and this will make a lot if children very happy.”
Mrs Riley set up the charity last year after raising more than £20,000 in previous two years.
