Dig out unwanted items
AGE UK Blackburn with Darwen is appealing for donations of small electrical items as stocks are running low.
The charity shop on Market Street in Darwen sells a wide range of quality second hand goods to support the services it provides for local older people.
Chief executive Vicky Shepherd said: “We need small working electrical items that have a CE mark on the label.
“We can sell items from every room in the house so why not have a clear out?”
To donate items, take them to the charity shop at 3 Market Street, Darwen or to arrange collection of larger quantities ring 01254 266620.
