Group funding is up for grabs
COMMUNITY groups in the Bradley area of Nelson have just 24 hours left to apply for a grant of between £100 and £500.
It’s part of the Big Local programme – a Big Lottery funded initiative, which Bradley received funding from in 2012.
A total of £2,500 is available to support ideas and projects aimed at improving the area.
Voluntary, community and faith groups based in Bradley or with a connection to the area are being encouraged to apply.
Application forms are available at www.bradleybiglocal.org/funding and they must be returned by midday tomorrow. Coun Mohammed Iqbal said: “If you’re a local voluntary, community or faith sector group or an organisation with a connection to Bradley, please don’t miss out on this funding.”
