Historian's art gift to school
AN original Vanity Fair lithograph of William Balle Huntington has been presented to Brambles East School by local historian and author Anne Hull. The picture was a gift from the Friends of Darwen Library after a visit to the school, based in the former Woodlands mansion in Holly Tree Close. Mill owner WB Huntington bought the house in 1878 and lived there with his family.
