THE Lancashire Huntington’s Disease Support Group celebrated its first anniversary with drinks and a buffet.
The informal group meets every month at St Peter’s Church in Darwen and provides support to individuals, families and friends affected by Huntington’s Disease and is run by volunteers who have experience and are available to support people in similar circumstances.
Huntington's affects muscle coordination and leads to cognitive decline and psychiatric problems.
