MORE homes are being built across the country, thanks to government schemes such as Help to Buy.
Housing Minister Kris Hopkins said the scheme had driven a considerable upturn in home purchases, and this has served to give developers greater confidence.
Figures published by the Department for Communities and Local Government show 36,450 new homes have been built during the first three months of the year, an 11per cent increase on the previous quarter.
