CARLO’S Restaurant in Colne was forced to close on Friday evening due to a power cut.
Joint owner Lesley Lionti, said: “The electricity was off all evening, so it was an absolute nightmare because we’ve obviously lost all those earnings. There was nothing we could do and I suppose it’s just one of those things.”
A spokesman for Electricity North West said there was an underground cable fault and apologised to the Albert Road eatery. He said no other properties were affected and power was restored on Saturday morning.
