DARWEN Town Council’s former mayor Eileen Entwistle praised youngsters at Darwen Vale High School after she attended the annual school production. Speaking at a meeting of the council, Coun Entwistle said: “I went to see Grease at Darwen Vale and it was excellent.

“It always is. I find the pupils are always very good and well mannered at the school.”
