Walkers on hunt for bats
THE Lancashire Wildlife Trust is set to hold an evening bat walk in a Clitheroe park later this month.
The free walk will be staged in Brungerley Park, in Waddington Road, on Friday, May 23, from 9pm to 11pm.
The walk will see groups take through Brungerley Park and into Cross Hill Quarry on the search for bats.
Armed with bat detectors they will be able to listen to their calls and be able to identify the different types of bat.
