Fire crews tackle spill
A SPECIALIST fire crew was called to an oil spill in Pendle on Thursday.
The team from Nelson fire station attended the incident in Wheatley Lane Road, Fence, around 12.40pm.
A small quantity of oil had leaked from a bus going through the village, and the fire service worked with Lancashire County Council to treat the road with sand.
