BLACKBURN with Darwen CVS will host another volunteer organisers’ networking event next week.
The service, which brings together community and volunteer organisations across the borough, has planned the event at the Boulevard Centre in Railway Road on Wednesday, from 9.30am.
CVS spokesman Geoff Wilkinson said: “Join us to have conversations with your fellow volunteer organisers.
“Explore the issues you and others face and have your say on what would improve volunteering in the borough.
“You will be able to build new contacts with people who can help with your challenges and build more confidence in your role as volunteer organiser.
“These events are in effect ‘action learning sets’, a process where people work and learn together by tackling real issues and reflecting on their actions.”
