A MUSIC concert raised £300 towards the upkeep of Chatburn Methodist Church.
The Burwain Singers performed at the church and included a wide variety of songs ranging from Elvis to Gilbert and Sullivan.
Event organiser, Clive Greenwood, said: “This first concert has got the expansion of music events off to a cracking start and beat all expectations.
“There has been lots of enthusiastic and positive feedback.
“There soon will be news of this year’s expanded Chatburn Summer Prom Concerts.
“I would thank everyone who has contributed and attended the concerts.”
