Open door to the golden awards
APPLICATIONS for the Forest of Bowland’s Golden Anniversary Awards open on Thursday.
The AONB Partnership has launched the awards 50 years after the Forest of Bowland was designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. The series of awards is designed to ‘recognise and highlight the work of some of the voluntary groups, businesses and individuals’ who contribute to the area.
Applications, which can be self-nominated or nominated by a third party, can be submitted from Thursday. The closing date for applications is Friday, August 29.
