‘Arson’ at house
THREE fire crews have said a blaze at a large derelict house in Darwen was suspicious.
High Field House, in Sudell Road, was badly damaged by fire and smoke throughout.
Sgt Shelley Baines, of Blackburn police, said that police and fire officers were working together to investigate the suspected arson at the boarded up building.
In total, 18 firefighters fought the blaze for at least an hour after being called out at around 4.30pm yesterday.
