Work will shut road
A SECTION of a Darwen road will be closed for a week while work to install new electrical connections is undertaken.
Spring Vale Garden Village will shut on Monday, May 5, from its junction with Cocker Street to the rear of number 73.
Blackburn with Darwen Council said it anticipated the closure to be in place until the Friday.
Diversions will be via Watery Lane, Causeway Street and Cranberry Lane.
