NOMINATIONS have opened for the Pride of Accrington Lions Youth Awards 2014.

The awards will honour under 18s who has made their local community proud.

There are two age categories: 10 years and under, and 11 to 18 years old.

The youngsters could have been caring for a family member, promoting the environment, raised money for a good cause, acted bravely in the face of adversity, or cared for others.
