Assault case
A 35-year-old man appeared before Burnley magistrates, accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Thomas Monk with intent, at Burnley, last October 13.
Junaed Ali, of Halifax Road, Brierfield, will have his case heard at the crown court and was bailed until July 21.
His solicitor indicated he would be pleading not guilty.
