GISBURN Auction Marts’ recent spring machinery sale drew a full complement of buyers, with many farmers swapping equipment before the tax year end.
Tractors created much interest especially a John Deere 6310SE with an almost new loader was quickly snapped up by a trade buyer at £1,1000.
A Ford 7810 complete with a Chillton Loader was sold for £7,800 to Fylde-based contractor.
In the plant section, a 14-ton trailer sold for £4,000, the same buyer also picked up a Thwaites six-ton dumper at £3,100.
Numerous livestock trailers where put forward including a two-year-old Ifor Williams TA510 cattle trailer selling at £3,500.
