Joining up health plan
AIREDALE Hospital has been successful in a joint bid to share NHS England’s Safer Hospitals, Safer Wards Technology Fund.
The bid, called Connecting Health and Social Care in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, will make the district one of the first in England to join up health and social care information and get a share of the £500 million fund.
Bridget Fletcher, chief executive of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, said: “At Airedale we already have a single electronic system.”
