Saddle up for ride
A COMMUNITY bike ride will be held in Great Harwood this weekend.
Following a successful cycle maintenance course and workshop held by the National Cycling Charity and Great Harwood’s Prospects Panel, the two organisations have joined up to organise the adult cycle ride, on Saturday.
The ride will take a circular route, starting and finishing in the town, and taking in the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and Witton Park. It will start from 10am, be at a steady pace and is fairly flat. Anyone from Hyndburn who does not have a bike will be able to borrow one if they book in advance.
