DARWEN’S town centre policing team has updated its priorities after a meeting with residents.
Officers held a PACT (Police And Communities Together) meeting at the leisure centre.
Residents who attended complained about youths causing a nuisance around Bright Street and Hindle Street in the evenings and at weekends.
Youths entering the grounds of Holy Trinity and Avondale schools after hours were also highlighted as a concern, as well as anti-social behaviour around the town centre.
The next PACT meeting will be on Wednesday, May 7, from 7.30pm in the leisure centre cafe area.
