Your mushy peas rock, says star
BLACKBURN’s mushy peas have been praised as ‘the best in the world’ by a British rock star.
Franic Rozycki, bass player with The Wave Pictures, was enamoured with the neon-green chip shop side dish several years ago, after travelling to watch Nottingham Forest play Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
He said: “I will always remember Blackburn because of it’s excellent mushy peas. They are the best in the world and I’ve never been able to find any quite as delicious since.”
